Hair Restoration
Start With The Scalp
Hair thinning is rarely something we approach with a single product or procedure.
Our Hair Restoration treatments combine LaseMD Ultra with either PRP (platelet-rich plasma) or KeraFactor, creating a personalized approach designed to support scalp health and improve the appearance of thinning hair.
LaseMD Ultra creates precise microscopic treatment channels within the scalp. These channels allow us to pair the treatment with a targeted hair restoration option selected according to your assessment, goals and treatment plan.
Because different types of hair loss require different approaches, every treatment begins with determining whether you’re an appropriate candidate; and whether PRP, KeraFactor or another avenue makes the most sense.
What we treat.
Early or progressive hair thinning
Reduced hair density
Decreased hair fullness
Changes in overall hair quality

How It Works.
How Microneedling Works
Step One: LaseMD Ultra
LaseMD Ultra uses a 1927 nm non-ablative fractional thulium laser to create microscopic treatment zones within the scalp.
In addition to producing a controlled response within the skin, these channels temporarily increase permeability, creating an opportunity for laser-assisted topical delivery.
Step Two: Your Hair Restoration Treatment
This is where your treatment becomes personalized.
PRP
- Platelet-rich plasma is prepared from a sample of your own blood. The concentrated platelet component is then used as part of your hair restoration treatment.
- Because PRP is autologous, the final preparation varies between individuals. Your provider will determine whether PRP is an appropriate option based on your health history and pattern of hair loss.
KeraFactor
- KeraFactor is a drug- and hormone-free scalp serum formulated with biomimetic growth factors and proteins encapsulated in nanoliposomes. Following Ultra treatment, the serum is applied to the scalp so that the laser-created channels can facilitate topical delivery.
Why We Love It.
good hair starts with a healthy foundation
Hair restoration never starts with a preset protocol.
Combining Ultra with either PRP or KeraFactor gives us the ability to build a treatment around the patient rather than offering the same protocol to everyone.
It also allows us to think beyond the hair itself. The scalp, underlying cause of thinning, medical history and long-term plan all matter when deciding what—and whether—we should treat.
PRP or KeraFactor?
You don't need to decide before your appointment.
PRP uses a preparation derived from your own blood and may be selected when an autologous regenerative approach is appropriate.
KeraFactor provides a needle-free serum option following the Ultra portion of treatment and uses a standardized formulation of biomimetic growth factors and proteins designed for scalp and hair health.
The two pathways offer different advantages. Your assessment, preferences and treatment goals guide which option fits your plan.
Where It Fits?
Treating More Than the Symptoms
Our Hair Restoration treatment is designed for patients looking for a clinical approach to thinning hair rather than simply adding another product to their routine.
Ultra provides the foundation for treatment, while PRP or KeraFactor allows us to tailor what comes next.
Hair restoration can also involve investigating underlying causes, optimizing scalp care and, when appropriate, incorporating medical or at-home therapies. A procedural treatment doesn't replace appropriate assessment of why hair loss is occurring.
For some patients, the most important part of the consultation may actually be determining that a cosmetic hair restoration procedure isn't the right first step.
Your Hair Restoration Treatment
Your treatment begins with an assessment of your pattern and history of hair loss, scalp health, relevant medical history and current treatments.
The scalp is prepared before LaseMD Ultra is passed systematically through the treatment area to create controlled microscopic treatment channels.
What happens next depends on your treatment plan.
With KeraFactor, the professional scalp serum is applied following Ultra treatment according to the treatment protocol.
With PRP, a blood sample is collected and processed to isolate the platelet-rich component before it is incorporated into your treatment.
We then finish off your treatment with a Healite session.
We'll provide instructions for caring for your scalp afterwards and discuss your recommended treatment schedule.

The Things You Actually Want To Know.
Below are a few common details about our Hair Restoration treatments. Have a specific question? Reach out to us anytime and we'll be happy to help.
Is there any downtime?
Downtime is generally limited, but the scalp may be temporarily red, warm, tender or sensitive following Ultra. PRP may also result in temporary tenderness, swelling or pinpoint bleeding associated with injections.
Does It Hurt?
Ultra may produce warmth or a prickling sensation across the scalp. PRP involves blood collection and injections, so it typically involves more discomfort than the KeraFactor pathway. Comfort measures can be discussed before treatment.
When Will I See Results?
Hair growth is slow. This isn't a treatment where you should expect a meaningful change the following week.
KeraFactor states that patients may begin noticing changes in scalp and hair quality and thickness at around 90 days after beginning its treatment series. Individual response varies, and improvement is not guaranteed.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
Your schedule depends on the pathway selected and your individual treatment plan.
We recommend four treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
Can I wash my hair afterwards?
You'll receive specific instructions about when to wash your hair and resume your usual scalp products based on whether you received PRP or KeraFactor. Avoid applying unapproved products to a freshly treated scalp.
Do I need to use anything at home?
Possibly. Hair restoration is often most effective as an ongoing plan rather than a series of isolated appointments. Depending on the cause of your hair loss, your provider may discuss scalp care, KeraFactor home care or medical therapies when appropriate. KeraFactor offers complementary at-home scalp products designed for use between professional treatments.
