Hydrafacial.
Your Skin’s Favourite Reset
A fresh approach to skin maintenance, HydraFacial combines cleansing, exfoliation, gentle extraction and hydration in one comprehensive treatment.
Using patented Vortex-Fusion technology and a specialized HydroPeel tip, HydraFacial helps remove surface debris and impurities while delivering hydrating solutions to the skin.
The result is a complexion that feels clean, hydrated and refreshed, with treatment options that can be customized to your skin's needs.
At The Infirmary, we've developed three HydraFacial experiences, each building on the same foundational treatment with additional technologies and targeted enhancements.

How It Works.
Inside the HydraFacial Treatment
Hydrafacial uses a multi-step treatment to cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate the skin.
Step 1 Cleanse & Exfoliate: The skin is cleansed and gently exfoliated to remove surface debris and dead skin cells.
Step 2 Extract: Controlled suction helps lift impurities and excess oil from congested pores without traditional manual squeezing.
Step 3 Hydrate: Hydrating solutions are delivered to the skin to support a smoother, more refreshed appearance.
The treatment can be adapted according to skin sensitivity, congestion and individual goals.
Why We Love It.
More Than Maintenance
HydraFacial brings several foundational skincare steps together in a single appointment, making it a versatile option for routine skin maintenance and patients looking for a refreshed complexion.
We appreciate its customizable approach. Rather than following the same treatment for every patient, we can adjust the experience based on your skin's condition and incorporate targeted enhancements when appropriate.
It also offers an option for patients who want professional skin maintenance without committing to a more intensive resurfacing procedure.
For us, HydraFacial isn't about replacing your daily skincare routine. It's about complementing it.
Where It Fits.
Choosing the Right Treatment
HydraFacial is an option for ongoing skin maintenance and concerns such as dehydration, surface congestion and dullness.
It differs from our more intensive technologies, which may be selected for concerns involving pigmentation, acne scarring, deeper wrinkles or skin laxity.
Depending on your skin and treatment goals, HydraFacial may be incorporated into a broader skin health plan alongside professional skincare and other treatments.
Your provider will help determine the appropriate treatment and timing, particularly if you're undergoing laser procedures, chemical peels or other interventions that require a recovery period.
Your HydraFacial Treatment.
Your appointment begins with an assessment of your skin and a discussion of your concerns.
The HydraFacial handpiece is passed over the skin in a series of steps to cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate.
Depending on the treatment level selected, your appointment will also include red light therapy, a customized booster and mask, and potentially Glacial Rx cooling technology.
The experience is generally comfortable, although you may notice a mild suction sensation or temporary tingling during certain steps.
Your nurse will finish with appropriate skincare and provide recommendations to support your results at home.

The Things You Actually Want To Know.
Below are a few common details about our hydrafacial treatments. Have a specific question? Reach out to us anytime and we'll be happy to help.
Is there any downtime?
HydraFacial is generally a low-downtime treatment. Mild redness, tightness or temporary sensitivity may occur, particularly after exfoliation or extractions. Most patients can return to their usual activities shortly afterwards. Recovery depends on your skin sensitivity and the specific products and enhancements used.
Does It Hurt?
HydraFacial is generally well tolerated. You may feel gentle suction, light pressure or temporary tingling during exfoliation. Your nurse can adjust the treatment according to your skin's sensitivity and comfort.
How Often Should I Have A HydraFacial?
Treatment frequency depends on your skin's condition, goals and overall skincare plan. Some patients choose periodic appointments for maintenance, while others schedule treatments around specific events. Your nurse will recommend an appropriate interval rather than applying a fixed schedule to everyone.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
A series of approximately 3–6 treatments, commonly spaced 4–6 weeks apart, may be recommended for progressive skin rejuvenation.
The number of treatments required will depend on your skin, the concern being addressed and your response to treatment.
Some patients may benefit from periodic maintenance treatments to support their results over time.
What Should I Avoid Afterwards?
Avoid unnecessary exfoliation, scrubs and potentially irritating active skincare immediately after treatment. Depending on your skin's response, you may be advised to temporarily pause retinoids or exfoliating acids. Use gentle skincare and daily broad-spectrum sun protection. Your nurse will provide instructions tailored to the treatment performed.
When Will I See Results?
Your skin may look and feel more refreshed immediately following treatment. Improvements in hydration and surface smoothness can be noticeable shortly afterwards, although individual results vary and are temporary.
